Foto Friday

This week something different on photo friday. After Tuesdays post on the walking tour, I went searching for the pics I had taken on my numerous trips there. Sadly most of my collection was lost when my hard crashed a few months back :(

But no worries...here are some photographs my friend took when my group of friends had gone there a about 3 years back.

This is the flora fountain...Looks pretty dosent it...At that time there was no water sprouting from it but now they have made it functional...so even better.Thats adu with me in the pic

Now the Kala Godha precinct that I tlaked about holds an annual arts fest. It is really intersting with road side art installations and various cultural programstaking place there.


Now this is something you wont get to see . These book vendors have now been evicted. But just look at the number of books...

Thats the Taj Hotel in the background. and the Shivaji Statue right in front.Really like this pic, it has a nice composition.

This is the army and navy building...Simply mindblowing!

Ahhh!!...The Gateway of Mumbai...If you go there now though the scene will be different.There is lots of construction going on there now.
